Doing this meme again 'cause I'm bored and it's fun. :D

Below the cut, I'm going to list a total of 20 characters (10 male, 10 female). Your job, if you choose to accept it, is to pick two of the characters (can be from same fandom or not) and give me a line of dialogue/song/quote. I will attempt to write something for those two characters interacting.

(Feel free to take a stab at the original if nothing on this one catches your eye. Or, hell, mix and match! I don't care. XD)

Is there any character from a novel or film that serves as a role model to you? What kind of advice do you think she or he would give you regarding any major issues you're facing right now?

I have two, actually. One is Gerry Kennedy (P.S. I Love You), and the other is Eric Draven (The Crow). I dunno what advice they'd give, but I think it's kind of amusing that the people who inspire me and influence my way of living are dead men.

What are the three best books you have ever read and what are the three worst? What made them so good or bad?

The best three, in no particular oder:

1. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

I know I mention this book every time a book needs mentioning, but it's just that damn amazing. I read within a few short hours and read it again whenever I need to remember that, sure the big things in life are important, but so are the little things.

2. The Howling by Gary Brandner

I read this book back in secondary one (seventh grade) and it was the first piece of werewolf fiction I ever came across in my then-thirteen years that got it right. Now, in my twenty-one years, it's still the only piece of fiction to have ever gotten werewolves right, and for that it will always be one of my all time favorites.

3. American Star by Jackie Collins

This book was a lot of firsts for me. Also read in sec one, t was the first book I read that had graphic sex in it. It was the first book I read with excessive swearing in it. It was the first book to give me a taste of the real world. Overall, though, it was the first book to make me believe that if you really love somebody and if you're really meant to be with that person, you'll find your way back to each other eventually.

The worst three, in no particular order:

1. Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

I feel bad for disliking this saga as much as I do, especially considering a friend bought me the first two books for my birthday two years ago. I might have liked it, had the writing not been so bad. I could easily overlook every single sparkly flaw, but the writing killed my brain. It felt like I was reading bad fanfiction written by a twelve year old. :(

2. I'm actually not sure what this one was called, but I think it was Second Sight. I have no idea who wrote it. I read it during sec one (before I discovered The Howling), and it was about a girl who could see spirits and such, but I remember it just going in circles. I gave up on it halfway through 'cause it was so boring.

3. Vulcan! by Kathleen Sky

Reading this, I felt like I was reading a Mary Sue self-insert fic. Dr. Katalya Tremain is a very predictable creation, from her tragic past, to her super amazing smarts and beauty, to the way two members of the Enterprise bicker to gain her attention and affection. Seriously, it was really bad. Don't read it, not even for shits and giggles.

# Comment with one to three random song titles - any song is fine - and I'll write a drabble for as many of them as I can!
# (For bonus points, link to the song or the lyrics, too.)
# I don't care if you pass on the meme but you can if you want.

Feel free to pick a pairing/character if you want. XD I'm not fussy.

If you could say anything you want to the person who has hurt you most in life, what would it be? Did you ever confront them? Why or why not?

I swear, these things know.

I never had to confront him because half the time I didn't even know he was hurting me, and by the time I figured it out, it was too late to say anything. But that was okay, because things turned out better in the end. I think.

What would I say to him? Heh. I think I'd like to say, above all else, thank you.

The best and worst advice I've ever been given was the following:

"You should listen to me." - [info]episode_zero

Duo

What's the best pick-up line you ever heard (or tried)? What's the worst? If you're instantly attracted to someone, will a stupid pick-up line dampen your interest?

The best (said to me by [info]episode_zero eight years ago while listening to Say My Name by Destiny's Child): "Hey, baby, I love you."

The worst (said to [info]neko_youkai04 by some random moron on the street one day while we were downtown a few years ago): "Got milk?"
